A surprise find!

Hello Lovely Friends how are you all doing?  This is just a quick visit to say hello to you all.  It has been a very busy day and I have been out shopping and found a wonderful surprise.  I wasn't actually shopping for anything but chanced upon these lovely plates called Fifi - what a fabulous name.

Now let me show you how I am doing with my second giveaway which I must finish before my Blog birthday.  I am putting some beads on the gorgeous ladies dresses, I do hope you like them.  I have a few more to do before it is finished and I can sew it all up and hopefully, and I do mean hopefully, it all comes together perfectly.

Well look below and see my find.  Unfortunately I could only get 6 of the salad plates but I adore their shape and they are very much in keeping with the 1950s.  I just love them so much.  There was only one cup and saucer which I had to have of course and a milk jug and sugar bowl.  I am in love lovely Folks, do you like them?

Here they are in their full glory below, I shall be keeping my eyes peeled for more of these and cannot wait to have a cup of tea in my new cup and saucer - yes I have bagged this for myself Folks.

Well Lovelies I have to leave you now for a while - I have so much to catch up with your blogs which I cannot wait to read and also have to get tea and do a bit of tidying, plus I want to crack on with my crochet bag which I started last week - whew no time for bed!  Have a fabulous evening/day depending where you are in the world.  Speak very soon, sending you all big hugs and loves
Dorothy :-)xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I am pleased to see you using an embroidery hoop to hold the fabric whilst sewing on the beads.
